Basic Skills Initiative
The Chancellor’s office is moving forward to address the issue of basic skills in California. The Basic Skills Initiative has a website as well with lots of information on the subject. As part of the initiative, a tool has been created for colleges to use to assess the state of basic skills on their campus. The College has been working on a document describing the state of basic skills at LATTC.
