Structural Rationale:  The structure and co-chairs of the sterering committee was developed to address the following objectives:

• Include Co-Chairs of Accreditation (ALO and Faculty Co-Chairs)
• Each standard and substandard has at least one chair
• All members of the college’s ALP team serve (ALP members are assigned to standards they have expertise/experience with)
• Membership includes representation from college-wide, shared governance committees (e.g., College Council committees)
• Membership includes student representation
• Membership includes representation from the three college divisions (Academic Affairs, Student Services, and Administration)
• Maintain a committee size of 13-15 - considered an "optimal" Steering Committee size.
